Summer is far from over at The Standard, Brussels. Throughout August, the hotel brings together rooftop moments, culinary collaborations and afterwork rituals designed to make the most of the season. From golden hour cocktails and skyline workouts to exclusive dining experiences and open-air parties, here's what's still to come. 

Magnum takes over Double Standard

Throughout August, Double Standard welcomes Magnum for a month-long collaboration celebrating indulgence in its most playful form. The hotel's chefs have created two exclusive desserts inspired by the iconic ice cream, combining familiar flavours, decadent textures and a generous dose of summer nostalgia. Available from 1 to 31 August, the limited-edition desserts can be enjoyed during lunch at Double Standard or ordered through room service, bringing a little Magnum indulgence to every corner of the hotel.

To kick off the month, ANIMO and The Standard, Brussels welcome participants to experience Brussels from a different perspective. Participation is free, with limited places available upon registration.

Sunset on Us

Golden hour deserves a ritual. Every day from 4PM to 6PM Lila29, the rooftop restaurant at The Standard, Brussels, invites guests to unwind with Sunset on Us, a daily aperitivo experience powered by EMINENTE. Guests ordering from the dedicated menu receive a second drink on the house, perfectly paired with a selection of tapas designed for slow summer evenings overlooking Brussels. Cocktails, skyline views and the last light of the day. Sometimes, one drink simply turns into two.

The Rooftop Open Air Series

As day turns into night, the 29th floor takes on a different energy. Every Saturday, Lila29 Late Nights keep the rooftop buzzing with signature cocktails, Iberian-inspired bites and curated DJ sets until late. The season culminates on 29 August with the next edition of The Rooftop Open Air Series, welcoming Crevette Records. One of the driving forces behind Brussels' electronic music scene, the collective transforms the Rooftop Garden into an open-air celebration of music, community and summer high above the city.

Late Nights at Lila29

As the sun sets, the energy shifts to the 29th floor. Every Saturday, Late Nights at Lila29 bring together rooftop views, signature cocktails, Iberian-inspired bites and curated DJ sets that keep the room moving long after sunset. No reservations required, simply come by and settle in.
